What are Implants and Implant Supported Dentures?

Implants are metal, generally titanium, studs that are implanted and integrated into the jaw bone that act as an anchor for a prosthesis to attach to. Implant Supported Dentures are the dentures that are built to attach to these implants and are generally considered the best treatment path available. The dentures can either be built specifically with the implants in mind, or they can be retrofitted afterwards if you decide to get implants following standard denture care.
